Terms & Conditions
PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING ANY BOOKING.
By accepting a quotation or booking work with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Quotations
All quotations are based on the information provided at the time. Where a quotation is given using photographs, videos, messages or customer descriptions, it is subject to final inspection on site.
If further issues are discovered once work begins, the quotation may need to be revised before the work continues.
Site Readiness
The customer is responsible for ensuring the work area is ready before the agreed start date. This includes clear access, completed preparation work, available services where required, and any work by other trades being finished.
If the site is not ready and work cannot go ahead, we reserve the right to charge for travel time, labour time and any costs incurred.
Call-Out and Travel Charges
If we attend a booked appointment and the work cannot proceed due to the site not being ready, incorrect information being provided, lack of access, or delays caused by the customer or another trade, a call-out or travel charge may apply.
Minimum call-out charge: £75, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations and Delays
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the agreed start date may be subject to a cancellation charge.
Delays caused by the customer or third parties may result in additional charges or a revised completion date.
Payment
Payment terms will be stated on the quotation or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of the work. Invoices must be paid within 7 days.
Late payments may incur additional costs and interest where applicable.
Additional Work
Any work not included in the original quotation will be charged separately. Additional work must be agreed before it is carried out.
Existing Conditions
We are not responsible for hidden or pre-existing issues that could not reasonably be identified before work started, including uneven floors, rotten timber, water damage, faulty plumbing, faulty electrics or structural defects.
Any required remedial work will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.
Customer-Supplied Materials
We cannot guarantee or accept responsibility for materials supplied by the customer. Any extra labour caused by unsuitable, faulty or incorrect materials may be chargeable.
Workmanship Guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion, subject to fair wear and tear, correct use, no alterations by others, and any concerns being reported promptly.
This guarantee does not cover manufacturer defects, customer-supplied materials, misuse, accidental damage, or damage caused after completion.
Photographs
We may take photographs before, during and after work for record keeping. Photos will not be used for marketing if they identify the customerās property without permission.
Complaints
Any concerns must be reported as soon as possible so we have the opportunity to inspect and resolve any genuine issue.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
